How it works
Conditional (Zou): The "Would" Word 🤔
"I would buy a boat, if I had money." This is the language of dreams, politeness, and hypotheticals.
In Dutch, the magic word is Zou.
- Singular: Zou (Ik, Jij, Hij, Zij)
- Plural: Zouden (Wij, Jullie, Zij)
The Formula (Sandwich)
It works just like a Modal Verb!
Formula: [Subject] + [Zou/Zouden] + [Rest] + [Infinitive]

Use Zou graag to mean "Would like".
